How to Make Marinated Tofu

This can be used in multiple dishes, including the soba noodle recipe!


Ingredients:

8 ounces extra-firm tofu, cubed

1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil

5 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 clove garlic

½ teaspoon organic sugar

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2½ teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil

  1. 1. Sauteé tofu cubes in canola oil over medium heat in a nonstick pan. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until tofu starts to brown.

  2. 2. While tofu cooks, mix together vinegar, garlic, sugar, soy sauce, and olive oil.

  3. 3. Turn tofu and cook for 5-10 more minutes. Turn again when bottom starts to brown.

  4. Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel.

  5. Put tofu in a glass dish with a lid and pour the marinade over the tofu.

  6. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
